St. Petersburg, FL - 3/19

We took a 7:25am flight to Boston, which then transferred to Tampa. Steph had Fuddruckers and now she gets really excited about it. We finally met up with Stephani and Cyrstal and decided to get a hotel instead of sleeping in the car, too much stuff, and not enough room. We got up early to pick up Alicia from the airport. 6 people in one car, plus a ton of suitcases ad more, not a good idea. We went to the beach, thinking it was warm, denied on that part. But went to Cabby's and watched some girl, who was trashed, dance with two guys. It was super classy, if I do say so myself.
On the day of the 19th we woke up around 7:30am to get to the venue around 9am. By the time Alicia and I got to the venue there were around 15 people there, BUT there ended up adding like 15 more people to the front of the line. So lame.
We went to the cafe that was near by and BAM Ashlyne Huff was there with her guitarist, Brandon, and her drummer Mike. They were incredible, and Ashlyne didn't have makeup on and goes "this is how I normally look, but I'll look better later." Scouts honor, she still looked good. That girl is gorgeous. And she remembered we were the ones going to 7 shows. Then we chatted with Kat about the most random stuff, including the fact that we didn't get to go parasailing and that she knew our flight was delayed. Plus Operation Fat Elvis - that will be explained later -
Around 4:15pm we started lining up for the soundcheck and meet and greet. You can only get 50 people into soundcheck, and I'm pretty sure we were maxing it out. They decided to sing Two Rebels, When I Get Home, and Use Somebody. They all of a sudden brought a girl, Danielle on stage, and made up a song, on the spot, using her name on it. It was weird, but pretty awesome at the same time.

After soundcheck was over, they did the meet and greet. The guys walked directly past us and high fived us, minus Mike, cause he sort of failed. Then I yelled "Ouch. No love from Michael" so Alex decided to hold my hand. So we waited in line and HAD to see Jill do her m&g picture - she was wasted - She wanted to do a "fishing" picture but Ned was taking the pictures and trying to hurry it up. She nearly choked Jay though, easily the most hilarious moment. When I finally went up Andy seemed a little excited to see me. When I finally got to Alex he was like "wow everyone's a power rangers fan today" because I was wearing my power rangers shirt. And I'm like "I wear this shirt every tour" and Andy nodded in agreement. So in my picture I'm happy to say that I'm leaning to the side and leaning forward, and I'm STILL taller than Michael.

When we finally got back in line, which was insanity because people are shoving to get to the front row. We decided to wait and just go onto the raised part of the venue to stand, but some girls who literally told us they were there to "annoy the guys" stood in front of us with stupid signs, including Ned In My Bed. But they never held their signs up until Honor Society's set.
First up was Ashlyne Huff. She did around 5 songs, I honestly don't know what the names are, except her single Heart of Gold. She had a dancer who was sort of sporatic but it was really cool. She kept making tell her when her album was coming out. April 27th. Go buy it, it'll be AMAZING.

Just Kait was up next. She's 18 but incredibly short, she's apparently 5'2". Kat was also surprised to hear that she was 18, even though she's met her before. Haha. Kait did around 5 songs as well, including Sick and Hot Stuff. She's definitely different compared to Ashlyne and HS, but it's definitely good. She talked about her drummer, Eric, a lot. They apparently are wonder twins. It was hilarious.

While Just Kait and her band got their stuff off the stage, and Pete & Brett put up Honor Society's stuff, we went and chatted with Kat. We decided to get some group pictures with her, including drunken Jill. Kat just laughed about it, and told Claire - Jill's friend - that there's no alcohol in the pictures, even though she's 23. Then I told her I wanted a "personal picture" and she's like "did you just call it a personal picture?" then told me she didn't really like the picture, but I posted it anyways. Then we saw Kait come out on one of the giant security guys shoulders. She couldn't even get off without his help. It was hilarious. Then we asked her for tylenol, which she gave to Jill but she ran off with it all. When Honor Society was about to come on we all went our own ways to watch the guys.
The setlist for Honor Society went like this: Rock With You, See U In The Dark, Here Comes Trouble, Two Rebels, Can't Box Me In, acoustic montage - Firebomb, I Need You Now, and Down, When I Get Home, Sing For You, Don't Close The Book - including Ashlyne and Just Kait -, Over You, Nobody Has To Know, and Full Moon Crazy was the encore.

Just Kait, Ashlyne Huff and Honor Society during Don't Close the Book.

It would take WAY to long to get into details of each song. But needless to say the show was absolutely amazing, and EVERYONE needs to go to at least one if they can.

VIDEOS.
They're up on my youtube, and I really don't feel like posting them again. Haha.

Hello Boston!

So we're sitting here in the Boston airport waiting for our flight to Tampa. We leave around 6:55 and get in around 10:30. Hopefully it'll be as good as the flight to Boston was.
Steph and I were able to actually sit together on that flight, with a gentleman named Jerry. He has a british accent, but is from Holland, and was born somewhere in Africa, I think. Anyways, he was awesome. Way better then the guy who originally sat next to us.

Well I'm off. My computer battery is dying. So I'll update as soon as I can.

Just venting. And yes it's HS related

So we have less than 3 weeks until our trip. 19 days to be exact, and I am PUMPED.

But anyways, this isn't about the trip. It's about the fans....
Not going to lie, I've met SO many people that are some of my best friends who are Honor Society fans. But there are a rare few that I have issues with....

So oceanup just did a contest to give away HS tickets, m&g, and soundcheck to NY & Cali shows. But seriously, the hate between the fans because they wanted the prize so bad, was ridiculous. I DISLIKE those fans, the fans that think they know everything, or have to be right. That or the fans that are obnoxious and get mad at the guys because they aren't coming to their state.

Fact to those fans. The guys don't make the tour dates. The guys don't choose where to go. I'm sure they tell management "we'd like a show in LA and NYC" but they can't say "we're doing a show here, and that's that." So don't get mad at them for not having a show where you are. It never makes any situation better.

I just felt like ranting, hate on me if you want - I get that occasionally. But I just felt like speaking my mind. And DO NOT take it to be that I hate Honor Society fans, because I love them to death, and I know for a fact hte guys love all of their fans too.

So I'm trying this again

So I tried this the last time I went on a roadtrip. It didn't work. BUT this time around, I'm going to be on a plane for awhile, so I can write more. That'll help.

Basically it's going to be my experiences on my cross country trip to see Honor Society at least 6 times, maybe 7. I'm pumped. I get to hang out with Steph, Stephani, Jill, and a TON of other new friends. I cannot wait.

Just 24 short days until our trip starts. Are you ready to party boys?
